writes: Ok so I'm almost 14, I first got my period right before I turned 9 so my periods should be normal by now right?Well it has been a month or two since and I have not had my period. I still get the PMS symptoms. But I dont get my period and I am NOT sexually active. So what do I do now? Because honestly I'm very worried. Help please tell me if this can be normal? anybody? somebody?!

I haven't had mine for quite as long but had the exact same problem - I saw my doctor and went on the Pill to regulate it (the flow also lightened so it was even better). I also had a hormone imbalance and acne problems, which are the other things the pill helps with for me, so it isn't right for absolutely everyone. Just talk to your doctor with your mom and you should end up fine - they might even do some blood work at the office like they did for me. Good luck!

Yes, it's not abnormal. It can be regulated but your doctor might think 14 is a little early. I would talk to your mom (she most likely follwed a similar pattern) and go see a gynocologist/doctor.

Yes it can be normal. My periods were irregular for years and years. Do you keep track on a calendar of the day you start? Just a small red dot or the letter P on your calendar.. keeping track is important
At 14 it's probably time for you to start seeing a Gyn. Have you talked to your mom about this???
