reader, anonymous, writes (25 October 2010): If you're the only one she treats this way, then odds are good. Go for it. If she turns you down, play it down, don't let it get to you. Don't let it change your existing relationship either.
Just remember, if you don't ask, she'll turn her sights elsewhere sooner or later, and you'll feel worse than if she were to say no, because you'll lose her.
