writes: While on a bike ride with a mutual friend, the boy of my affections picked me a tiger lily off the side of the road to bring back to me. However, he does not know about my affections for him and I'm wondering if maybe this flower may have meaning to it. Do guys just pick flowers for girls if they don't have romantic feelings for them?

he obviously likes you at the least he has s soft spot for you its obvious picking flowers for a girl is actually quite a sign of love and unless he just wants you in bed (unlikely) hten he must have affection for you. Hope I Helped

reader, anonymous, writes (22 July 2009): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionWhen my mutual friend asked him later that night he said he picked it because I was upset that my car broke down and he wanted to cheer me up. However, he gave me the flower that morning and my car didn't break down until the afternoon. Plus they had just come back from town .. if I was upset (which I wasn't) he could have just got me candy or something. Why would he lie to her?
