Sexually active throughout this whole time (with the same partner) never had any problems.Recently I had sex for the first time whilst on my period so during the fake pill stage. I never really took into consideration, the pill covers you during this stage also right?Much appreciated.

hope i helped?

Hi. Yes it does. Although the placebo isn't going to pretect you, it is just there to help you remember when to start back on the next packet, if you have been taking the full course of the pill, you will be protected. The 7 days you don't take the pill is just to bring on your period. During this time you are at your least likely to get pregnant anyway, but as the hormones from the pill will still be in your system, you will be protected as much as when you are taking the real pill.
