Girls tend to deny it more when they actualy really like you.

 She probably does like you, but 12-year-old girls are notoriously fickle (they change their minds a lot), so just be cautious and don't feel like you have to do anything. Maybe you can enjoy the feeling of knowing that you're attractive to a girl, but you don't have to feel pressured to respond.
Age 12 is really, really young to worry much about the other sex, so give yourself some time and decide what, if anything, you want to do about it. Sometimes, just smiling and enjoying the attention is enough.
When you get a bit older, she'll still be around.
