writes:my dad stores lot of porn DVDs in his room but does not watch it frequently .I have a bad feeling that storing porn at home itself will give a bad effect to me and my family. i feel that am facing lot of bad-luck because of this.i many times wont even enter my dads room because i feel that if i do then there is some negative energy which will effect me. if anything bad happens to me i get a bad feeling that this may be the reason.this problem has effected me a lot i don't even like to stay in my house and even my mom does not like this porn stuff to be in our place .is it normal for any one to store porn at home , or is it a superstitious belief if yes then i need to come out of it .. please help me .i am facing this problem from a long time.i request for ur advice, which will help me overcome .

reader, anonymous, writes (6 August 2011): Its definitely just a superstition. You might not like it being in your house but its not going to bring you bad luck! I don't know if its normal to store porn a home but it won't bring you bad luck. It is a DVD. And no matter what type of DVD it is, its just a piece of plastic. You can snap it in half with two hands! Whatever bad things that are happening to you are just a coincidence.

your over reacting to the situation. well i would not say that its normal and completely perfect to keep loads of porn in you house but if its use is not affecting anyone around you like gf/wife if any then its normal for a teenager as an healthy adult to go through it once in while. But don't make it make it a habit else you would get glued to it most of the time in your teen years. A RELEASE from jerking is necessarily for healthy teen male before you finally have a gf or get married later on because hormones are getting hold of you at this stage and going against it would only leave you frustrated.

 I don't think the porn has anything to do with your bad luck. It makes you uncomfortable, so you associate it as something bad in your life. There are so many people who have at least one porno movie in their home, if not more, so it's normal to have them, and normal not to have them. If it really makes you uncomfortable, then just stop going in the room. And if that doesn't help much, then ask him if he could place them in a storage center outside of your home, if you have those. And if he won't, then just accept it for the time being because most men are reluctant to give up their porn. So just don't go in the room and don't associate it with your bad luck because I'm sure that's not the reason for your bad luck. Hope this helps.
