writes:me and my gf had sex in the car and I threw the condom out the window and it went into the bush on the side of the road, is there anyway that sperm can survive? or be traced after a freezing night?It's a silly queston and I just wanted to know and confirm that once its out of the body and exposed that it doesn't live, and dies?

I got a bit paranoid about that and all of the weird thoughts began filling my mind as to what would happen after that, or if someone would find it or even use it, "I know thats absolutely stupid, but I got nervous, and me mind ran with the ideas"
Although one thing I know is that I'm not gonna throw it out that way, rather dispose of it properly.

 The sperm wont live outside the body for that long.. and can i just say.. wot makes u think they will be bothered.. lol but wen me and my boyfriend do it in the car no one seems to know but im sure they do.. but if they got the condom and were that desperate to ffind whos it was, then they would spend money on a DNA test and would search all the men in your area.. but that most likely WONT happen... x x x mail me if u wana talk x x x

 Sperm can live for a short while outside the body and it could be used as a forensic sample. However, I am sure the police have better things to do than worry about you - it may count as a public order offence at the very most! However, throwing condoms out of car windows is not a really nice idea...I personally would be 'delighted' to have that turn up in my garden or if it is on a road-side a child could find it and that would be disgusting.

 I don't think the sperm will survive long but yes if found by police they can get DNA from the condom.
