writes:I do all my schooling through correspondance, anyway i met this girl through one of my maths classes weekly teleconferences. Anyway this was back in yr 10, talked to her for ages on msn etc, really started to like her :P Our yr12 formal was coming up and i asked her back in august if she would like to be my date for the formal (she agreed). She flew down near where i live. We met up at a shopping centre and walked around it talking for a few hours, she was pretty quiet and shy compared to how she talks on msn. She would hardly make eye contact and when she did she would quickly look away and have a shyish smirk. She would laugh at my jokes and stuff but that was really it. Few days later the formal night arrived, we turned up took some pictures and sat down. she hardly said anything at all. But she sat next to me and her chair was like 5inches from mine. Formal went well, but she didnt say much to me, bar a few words here and there. we went back to the hotel room, got changed etc. she only spoke like a dozen words to me and then talked to her mother and my parents the rest of the time. My mates were saying she was staring at me when i wasnt looking and when i got up and and she didnt know where i went she would ask my mates where i went, scan the room or go lookin for me. I havent spoken to her since the formal (4ish days ago), so im not sure what she thinks of me, since shes met me. Does she like me or not?all i know is that i like her alot more now since ive actually seen her :|Thnx!

Anonymity is verified as being by the original poster of the questionwell she hasnt come back on any form of messengers (its been over a week). so she was probably using me so she had someone to go to the formal with.

reader, anonymous, writes (19 November 2007): She does like you, but it sounds like she is shy. You will need to continue to make moves, but take it slow. If you come on too hard you might run her off. Try taking her out to a quite dinner and maybe a walk in the park. When the mood is right try giving her a kiss. If she kisses your, then you have your answer. If she doesn`t then try to read her reaction. It could be that she has no experience with guys and is nervous and/or afraid.

She is probably wondering if you like her too!! sometimes no matter how many signals you send it just isnt enough! You need to tell her how you feel and ask her if she feels the same, i know it will be hard but you will never know if you dont ask. Go for it mate.
