If it goes any futher than a student/teacher relationship than your music teacher is breaking the law and can losse his job. Tennage crushes on teachers is perfectly normal if you just treat it as one of those things.
I went through it aswell. I was adament I was in love with this teacher and we were going to get married and have babies. It will pass.
It is wrong for him to flirt with you also!
All you can do is enjoy the lessons then don't hang round to be 1 on 1 with him. Hang out with mates and try to meet a lad round your own age :)

It would be totally inappropriate for yor teacher to feel this way babe, and as you have mentioned the fact that you feel you are 'rubbish at music' i feel that the case will probably be that he is trying to boost your confidence and spending more time with you to try and help you progress in your music lessons.
It is totally normal for someone of your age to have a crush on your teacher, because at your age we tend to respond very well to any adult that is paying us alot of attention and we can see it in the wrong way.
Take care.xx.
