writes: my best friend of three years confessed to me about a month ago that she thinks she is bisexual. i have no problem with gays, bisexuals or lesbians, but i'm straight. i told her that because we're so young, she might just be going through a phase. but if she's positive she's bi, then she shouldn't be ashamed of it and i wouldn't treat her any differently than i usually do.me and her have a really close relationship, like most girls do with their best friend. we hold hands, peck eachother goodbye, have loads of inside jokes, weird names for each other, loads in common, and we basically have the others back. i've never had a friendship as close as this one (physically) but i never thought twice about it. lately though, i've caught my friend staring at me, she giggles at everything i say (more so than usual), makes a concious effort to be close to me, and tells me she loves me a lot. we've said that before, but the look in her eyes when she says it is different.when she sleeps over, i wake up to her stroking my face, brushing hair from my face or just generally watching me. the night she told me she thought she was bisexual; she explained it was because she'd fancied a lot of other girls before, and actually has a crush on one now. when i asked who, she just said 'it doesn't matter' and quickly changed the subject.i guess my actual question is 'does my best friend like me?'x
