I don't know if he can tell I like him (I usually flirt) but I'm trying to figure out if what he's doing is flirting back or if he might have a thing for me too. We are both single and he is a friendly person in general. The other week we were talking about a nice market in town and were both going to go on the same day and I said 'maybe I'll see you there' and he replied with 'it's a date'. (I never saw him there) Usually after he adjusts my back he will massage my shoulders for a minute and when I go to leave he will give me a hug (side hug with one arm). He tells me 'you're a great gal'. etc. Sometimes if I'm the only patient there, he will sit and chat with me for awhile. Am I over thinking this or does he like me and is scared to do anything because I am his patient? He's a bit older than me (I have always liked older men)..maybe he thinks he's too old for me??Should I make a move and ask him to lunch?

As you are his patient, its dicey for him because it should be against his professional ethics. Since you have something like a 'date' planned out, try asking for his number and say its just to confirm from him about your date. If he gives you, then I feel its pretty safe. And remember to give him yours :)
