my boyfriend is 26 and do you think he wants kids or is just being silly? these are things he has said to me:

once we drove past a new playground and he said "we should have lots of kids so we could go to the playground all the time".

we were discussing what i would do if i was preganant and he said, "i would keep it because it would be a cute baby"

i missed my period once and he said "i hope youre not pregnant, but it would be pretty cool"

we were watching tv, there was a baby and he said "you might even be pregnant now" and started rubbing my belly and i asked, what would you do if i was?, and he said after a pause "i would teach it to play basketball"

is it normal for guys his age to talk about things like this? what does it mean if he says these things? what is he trying to tell me?

Callmewifey agony auntSounds to me as if he just has thought about the thought of having a child. Don't get your hopes up high and I wouldn't start working on concieving a child just yet.
