I guess guys can vary? Who knows. Ive had a few episodes of prolonged and intense arousal that didn't result in ejaculation and I had trouble sitting down again i was so sore. Granted, they were very few but definately intense.
Of course it doesn't happen everytime you get aroused (not even close) and sometimes it's just a little uncomfortable and no big deal whatsoever.
Ladies, I think it's worth noticing that almost every comment clarifies (perhaps obviously, but correctly) that it's not the girls fault or duty to rectify (ha) the problem. That's alright in my book and you can't blame us for trying to convince you to help if the moment is right :)
Its only cuz your all so darn SEXY!!! :)
...I'm just sayin.

However, if you are in a heavy makeout session and have an erection for a while, then 'blue balls' is a real thing. It is like a painfull urge to 'finish up' (cum). I do believe (being older now I can confess), that teenaged boys will propagate this tale beyond what is really true. My wife believed this to the point that even though she was determined to stay a virgin until marriage (and she did wait until we were engaged), that if she dated a guy and they had a long makeout session, she would give him a handjob to 'relieve' him. I don't know the exact count, but it's almost 20 guys that she gave handjobs because of this 'exaggeration', so I guess it worked for those 20 guys or so.

If it were true you'd see guys curled up in the fetal position littering every street corner. It's one of the oldest ploys guys use on soft-hearted and abeit soft-headed young girls. Never fall for it.

If aroused sufficiently, indeed it can be quite painful!

Yes it does depending on how long they've had the erection. If you're being intimate with someone, whether it's talking or being physical, they will more than likely have an erection. After a while it will start hurting and ejaculating is the only way to get rid of it. But, like Annalisa said, don't let anyone use it as an excuse to get their leg over. Tell them to sort themselves out.

A

(:o)Not 'hurt' as such, but it ranges from slightly uncomfortable to a feeling similar to being kicked in the balls an hour ago - commonly known as 'blue balls'. The intensity of the discomfort is relative to the strength of the erection and the time elapsed between achieving the erection and being relieved of it.
