Because it was a large group of about 8 people I didn't really focus all of my attention on the one girl in the group that I liked but I continued to make her and a lot of the other people laugh (teasing and joking A LOT)Then just before we left that girl took some lollies from a bowl and while i was talking to the other girls in the group she sneaked up behind me and unzipped my backpack and poured the lollies into my bag. I only realised when i saw the group looking past me and smiling. I of course turned around and started to tease her about it and she was laughing because of what she just did.Do you think she is also playfully flirting with me, because i only recently met her (within the past two days of this occurring) and is this something a girl would normally dare to do to someone who they've recently met?

Im not sure when is a good time to ask her out. Im thinking of continuing my flirting then and then casually asking her out somewhere.

Hmmm i think their may very well be....and perhaps more likely so if you both have the same sense of humour - thats a great bonous !
But its how to know for certain so i guess only time will tell for sure.
But i think you should make a special awareness of this girl when shes around and see if you pick up any more flirting signals :)
Although if your the joking guy you could approach her and say something kind of 'jokingly' say something 'hint-ingly' to her....you never know if you dont ask hey...
Besides if she gets your sense of humour then maybe if you say it jokingly she might be able to secretly spot your actually not joking... and others may not pick up on this :)
Hope this helps
