Well it depends how you said it!! If someone said that to me there would definitely be a touch of irony in my reply, or maybe just sarcasm!
You just THINK he might be the one? Did you really say that? You are not sure? He must feel great about that, not!
At least he sounds like a polite fellow.
I suggest you make your mind up fairly quickly and let him know.
