Do guys normally go back and call girls they formerly dated? I can't tell if he really wants me or if he's just lonelyThe problem is I really like him. I want to be with him, but I don't want him to think that just because he wants me back, that I'll jump into his arms. How should I go about this?

 Sounds like he has no girlfriend and as you were still single,he thought he would give it another go....until someone else turns up.He would have to do better then that if he thinks he can just swan in and expect you to drop everything for him.I get the impression that he ended the relationship with you,but if he really really wants you back and has made the biggest mistake of his life when you two parted,then he will have to make a big effort to do so...otherwise you have no guarrantee that he wont do it again....but something tells me that he probably will.
