writes:Hi,I have been in a [gay] relationship for the past 4 years. he is 34 and I am 41... We live together...Last September, my boyfriend told me that he had been seeing a guy for the past 15 months, every weekend, to fulfill one of his fantasies... Now, he says that he fell in love with him but he loves me as much as when we met but the sex life has dried up... We only have sex once in a while. Apart from sex, he says that everything is as 'usual'...I want to leave this situation as it is damaging me... but he is adamant that he loves me, doesn't want me to go and there is, maybe, the possibility of coming back together... Now, I know that this other guy has never said that he loves him or sees any future with Jon (boyfriend), which tends to make Jon very insecure about any future he may see, or want with that guy... I have asked Jon if he was prepared to make that other guy a friend and stop having sex with him... to what he replied that he was not prepared to do just that at the moment... Now, as anyone can presume, I have been running all kind of questions in my head for the past weeks... Does he really love me? Why did he do that? Why waiting for so long before telling me about that other guy? Am I being used as second best if he does not get what he is looking for with that other guy? Is he genuine in his feelings? Can anyone actually fall in love and love two guys at once? Jon has been and is the only guy I ever truly loved... hence me still being around... waiting for him to make a decision... letting me go, or staying with me...I cannot make any sense of this situation... can you?Thank you so much for your help...

reader, anonymous, writes (4 January 2011): Your dude's using the hell outta ya man and you allowing and taking it. Hey man the dude's working ya overtime, buying time til time's right to dump ya. Mark my words dude he's gonna dump ya for the other dude or another one and til that for sure day which it's coming figure your backup plan cuz your dude jerking you all over.
