From Sept 2008, he begins doing stuff like making fun of my height, poking me, calling me names (like short, dummy), kicking me, and stealing my stuff (like books, pencils). He seems to have a lot of fun... He comes over every single lunch period and all he does is play around with me, bothering me while doing work. There was also few times when he said 'I love you' online. At first, I thought he was serious.. but when I ask if he were serious, he said he was joking..Thus, I don't take his words serious ever since. Also, there is one thing that really bothers me. He asked me to prom, but he, himself hasn't even put his deposit yet. Using my own judgment, I assume he doesn't like me since he's not even willing to go to prom with me (or desperate). I even became annoyed of his behaviour; I have already asked him whether he paid for his prom several times..and every time he says not yet or I'm not sure whether I should go or why's everyone telling him to go. He seems to have forgotten that he had asked SOMEONE to prom. Please give me some feedback..Does he like me or just enjoy bothering me?

Well if you enjoy being hit and teased stick with him, but I think the fact that you are here asking means you have doubts about this boy. And
I seriously think you need to hang out with other guys and realise that just because he is paying you this kind of attention, other boys that like you may show you other kind of attention which you actually like.
Don't become a victim, it's so common to hear about abused women who stay with the abuser because "he loves me and he's a nice guy really" or "well it's my fault really"
Also "KINDA LIKE" isn't good enough! Get out there and find a boy you REALLY REALLY LIKE!!

I think even if he does like you, he sounds like a prat! I think it would be worth finding a different date for the prom.
If he spends his time annoying you and messing about why should you wait to find out if he actually likes you. Find some one else, his loss, and if he did like you maybe it will make him grow up.
