writes:So last year, me and this boy got really close to the point where we became best friends as of now. He has a girlfriend and everything too. But the way he acts towards me is confusing. Whenever he mentions us being perfect for each other and and tells people we're together when i'm around, i'll respond in an awkward manner and he'll finish off the sentence with "i'm joking". He also would rather have my opinion than his girlfriends. We always hang out too. he once asked me if he could see us together and he replies saying if we got close we could. I told my friends about this and they insist he likes me, but he's told me once he liked me as a friend. He isn't the type to be messing around with your feelings. so at this point im very confused. Does he like me, is he messing around, or is he getting to the point where he does like me.

Why would you even want to be with someone who is going behind their girlfriend's back, and can't even give you a straight answer as to if he likes you or not??!!!
We don't know what he wants and obviously neither does he. I'd stop the "we'd be perfect together" talk and back off of the friendship a bit.
