I find this rather disconcerting because I am not sure where I stand with him and if he likes me for me or just for my ethnicity. He already has a friend with 'benefits' (not that I would want to become one) and yet he is still flirting with me quite a bit. However I consider him more as a friend and he is of much help to me on my course. Please advise me as I do not want to lose him as a friend but am not willing to go further just yet.

Motives of most college boys are pretty transparent. They think a girl is hot and want to get with her. It's just the nature of hormones and youth.

I personally have had 3 past girlfriends who are oriental - my current gf being Chinese. I am fascinated by the Chinese culture and from that, grew a love of the virtuous ways of the Chinese women. I find them mostly very pretty too.
Being fancied/ loved for being 'different' is a refreshing change from being hated for the same reason - there is so much racial hatred in the world.
Face it - guys are gonna find you fascinating, intriguing, pretty - enjoy!!!
