 Well, perhaps the most obvious thing to do would be to ask him and if you trust him, you will receive an honest reply. This would be the best way to apporach the problem as communication in a relationship is very important.
Other ways to determine how he feels for someone else? Watch body language. Does he appear slightly uncomfortable when this girl is around? Does he look/watch her a lot? Does he become quiet when she is around? Is he distracted when he is with you? Lost in his own thoughts?
The thing is, it is easy to jump to conclusions and you could be wrong. Sometimes the way someone acts around someone else doesn't necessarily mean they like them and your imagination could even be playing tricks on you.
The solution? Ask him, explain how you feel and find out the truth from him.
