He made the effort to seek me out and add me as a friend on facebook, started chatting with me via instant messenger, and gave me his phone number (he later asked me for mine). I didn't pursue him nearly as much as I normally would because I've just been through a rough patch with an ex. This new guy is super sweet and seems to be interested (my friends who are normally spot on noticed this as well) but he's not putting in a lot of effort to make contact. I haven't seen him in 3 weeks (one of which he was out of town) and we live in the same city. I invited him to hang out with me and my friends and he opted to stay at home. does he just want to be friends? I'm thinking this is the case.
