writes: hi, i wanna know if this boy fancies me, he's the same age as me (15). and he txts me about once a week just to talk. we see eachother everyday at school and whenever he sees me he pokes me and smiles, i smile back aswell. we are friends and have known eachother for years.im just not sure if he's flirting with me or not. would you call this flirting or not?he says to his mates infront of me "she fancies an old man and she lost her viginety to him" for a joke. and i find it funny so im just laughing. and he says stuff like that and he says to his mates infront of me, "she fancies the boy over there". and loadsa stuff like that. is that flirting or am i just being silly thinking he fancies me???

reader, anonymous, writes (28 May 2008): I think he does like you as hes always tring to poke you -(hes trying to get close to you physically), if he flirts with you then why not try and ask him out? cinema? you dont necessarily have to go on your own, invite his friends along with your friends, both of you wil feel morw comfortable in case of awkward silence which sometimes happens when two people fancy each other and dont know what to say to not sound stupid.

but are u willing torisk it, i mean what do you actually want to acheive here?
if you have nothing to loose and say you were interested in taking the relationship further then go for it and tell him how you feel
