Diet can also have an impact - cut back on caffeine and sugary things, drink more water and you might find that your PMS symptoms lessen overall.

reader, anonymous, writes (1 November 2006): One of the best remedies for cramps or breast tenderness due to PMS is to take an anti inflammatory drug like naproxin or Alleve a week or so BEFORE your symptoms or period would start....waiting until you have these symptoms and then taking these types of drugs is not effective because the drugs are preventative and will not stop these conditions once they have taken hold.
I don't think sex makes breast tenderness better, but it does help with cramps. Going to the gym and excercising does help you feel better if done on a regular basis...but may be a bit painful if you wait until the day your breasts are sore, you will just have to try it to see if you feel better, everyone's body responds differently.

Well if you asked my husband that question, he'd say that sex makes any condition feel better, headaches, stomaches, cut fingers, doesn't matter just have a little sex and you'll feel better. LOL But he may have good point in that sex releases endorphines which do make you feel good. Why not experiment?
