I'm not sure. (I work at a camp, and my friends kept saying my name, so I'm pretty sure he heard it.)And on his profile I can see his wall, send him a message, poke him, and look at his pictures. But my friend, who also doesn't have him as a friend, can only see his wall and send him a message. Then she told me that he could've looked at my photos, and that's why I can see his photos. Can Facebook work that way? If so that gives me hope of him liking me.

Sometimes FB is just wishy washy in how things work. I've set pictures so that only I could view them and I'd check privacy preview to see how a certain person sees my profile to later learn that my "hidden" pictures were still viewable.
All and all, I don't think that his having viewed your profile determines what you can see on his profile.
