Though I have been getting regular dressing on it. I feel so uncomfortable . I'm not feeling any pains from it. It still bleeds a little but not as much as the first time the suture was dressed. Does benign breast lump take this long to heal? Would appreciate your helpful answers. Reply to this Question Share |

Especially if it's growing bigger. The process of removal wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. There was no more pain after two days of the surgery. So you don't need to be sacred. Just see a Doctor and probably read online about breast lumps.

Do you know of anyone that had a lump removed and got healed probably earlier than you? May be that's why you are so concerned. You should see your doctor. I have a lump in my breast too and in the same age range as yourself. I am too scared to even remove mine or see a doctor about it. Goodluck.

Go see your doctor. TOMORROW.
Each person heals at different paces, but if you have issues like diabetes, receive blood-thinners etc. it can take longer.
3 weeks seem long in my book, I am however a fast healer.
There can be an underlying infection or reason why you have not healed up yet. ONLY your doctor can figure out why.
So off you go to the doctor.

Should not you ask that to your doctor , and urgently too if you are worried ? Possibly the one who performed your surgery ?
This is a medical issue. Even if you find a couple of ladies from Dear Cupid telling you " yes it is normal " or " no it is not normal " that will not be a statistically significant and reliable indicator enough to tell you if you need to worry or not and it would not mean much.
Much safer asking your doctors.
