A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

okay, my question is about a girl (Go-figure) I play piano, guitar and I sing, and one day at school I was playing the piano and singing sort of a love song, I don't have a girlfriend, but as I was playing, this girl that I could never see wanting someone like me was watching me and kept looking at me as if she was attracted to me. This girl is a very beautiful and is sort of on the popular line, but she and I are in the same band class, and I don't feel awkward around her either. I kept playing and she came and sat next to me on the piano bench and moved very close to where the sides of our bodies were touching while I was playing and I finished the song that way...I don't know if I should ask her how she feels, because I don't want to assume something completely false and have her be put off by me...does anyone think she might like me?? anyone's opinion will be appreciated, but preferably women...

Thanks :)

Hi, it is agonising isn't it, the nnot knowing.

What you need to do is see if she faces you full on when sitting gopposite or standing in front of you. This is a good subconcious body language sign that someone likes you.If she does not move away when you touch her slightly on the arm (another good sign) Watch her eyes, if she glances and then looks away when she sees you looking back, she likes you.The clincher is that she will look back at you again straight away.

These signs should be enough for you to know that you can at least ask her opinion on music or something to get the conversation going.

Good luck!

(I am the anonymous male below, continuing)

You don't need to confess your feelings immediately. Next time you see her, get close to her and touch her. Try to see if she touches you back. Some things don't need to be put in words.

It is interesting because also in my band, there is a popular girl I had a crush on. She ignored me at first. But she recently started touching and feeling me. ^^

So go for it, you have nothing to lose.

Well, touching is always a good sign. Girls dig musical guys!

Some more details would be good. How long have you known her? How well do you know her?

you should deffinately go for it. you don't want to miss this opportunity and live your life regreting that you never told her your feelings. From reading your story, i think she likes you. Funny thing is...i was in her situation before. ... just that the guy that had a crush on me never made a move cuz he thinks I'm too good for him. so now...I'm happily married to someone else. and this guy who has the crush on me is pretending to be happy for me when i can see it in his eyes that he is hurt. so...you should just make the move and tell her how you feel.she likes you.
