Hello again!

I just had a quick question. I'm 19 as is my boyfriend. He is away at work during the weeks of the summer and is only home one day of each weekend for the entire summer. Before work started we used to spend every day together so this is a bit of a change. Recently I have definitely been feeling very flustered since we don't get to spend any time together and we aren't into phone sex or anything. So, I enjoy reading the occasional book if it is worth it. Does anyone know any really good romance novels or erotic (whatever you want to call it) that has nice plots but more importantly great love scenes? I don't know... I just think that would help.

Any would be great!

Thanks again.

anita shreve and nora roberts. good books with some romance. i love nicholas sparks with the exception of "road to rodanthe." none of these are what i would classify as erotic.

just curious are you ok with him "reading" hugh hefner? only seems fair. also you may find "help" with the lonliness by visiting anne summers. just saying...

Miamine agony auntNo.. not all of Judith's books are good, she stopped writing for a while, and when she came back her stuff was rubbish.. only read her old books...

Hahahaha... where do I start... I love me romance books...

For romance and laughs, and light passionate sex scenes, it's got to be Amanda Quick, with Teresa Medeiros, Catherine /coulter, and Stella Cameron well within the running and bringing up the rear..

Hot and sex, read Lisa Kleypas, Thea Devine, Shannon McKenna, Sandra Brown or Linda Howard

Pure sex with great story... Sarah McCarty and (Damn... name slips me.. writes wolf stories... I'll check on me bookshelf and get back to you) her books are hot, xrated stuff

mmmm... most of me books are historical, Linda Howard and Shannon Mckenna are the two who are modern.

person12345 agony auntGood and romance novel don't belong in the same sentence. Though Nicholas Sparks is always a good choice for a bathtub/beach read.

Hey!

Please read ANY of Zane's books. She writes very very very erotic stories or adult fiction rather. Helped me very much when my now Ex were apart for long periods of time. One of her books are called "The Sex Chronicles". Being that she is a girl, she has a storyline for every "situation", just how we ladies like it. Also, you can try going to some FREE websites. One very common one is Literotica.com.

Hope this helps!

A reader, anonymous, writes (10 June 2010):

The Notebook - Nicholas Sparks

On Chesil Beach - Ian McEwan (This one is a bit depressing though and less erotic. It's all about sex, though.)

I'm not a real big romance novel reader.

There are some really good movies out there though.

"The Jacket" is very good.

None of these are erotic to that extent though. Mostly just romantic. There's sex scenes, but nothing outrageous.

Sorry I couldn't be much more help! Good Luck!

Fatherly Advice agony auntBased on my experience limited as it is, The steamy scenes are all cut and pasted from the same stock. Quite a bit of it is outright unbelievable, especially the amateur stuff that can be found online. We just call it Chick Porn. I used to recommend books online but i tend to prefer romances where the author polity pulls the curtain before the act, so I guess I can't help much.
