Well does anyone have a good cure for getting rid of spots.

I tried alot from freederm to clearisal, its like sometimes my skin its really clear and I barely have any spots.

Then like a week later i have loads and just can't get rid of them.

I was just wondering if anyone had any treatments or creams they could recommend ?

Thank you

this may sound stupid but get some none oily moisturiser from boot and add salt and mix them together. salt kills bacteria and helps heal cuts and spots...savalon can also be good as it heals cuts and spots and disinfeccects them...

anything by Lush is amazing. i used to work there and there is a face mask called cupcake. it's ideal for teenage skin. it helps with spots.

also the old method is to put some toothpaste on the spot over night. my friend still does this if she gets a spot and she is 23. but def try Lush products.

Im around your age and i had loads of spots not long ago but what i did was i took my make up off as soon as i came in from school or wherever i went.. or not even wear make up, just a bit of mascara, have a wash with any facewash and put sudacreme on the spots.. what's best is to put sudacreme on overnight and it jus wipes off in the morning. Put a towel over your pillow so you dont get sudacreme on you pillows and after a few nights of doing that your spots will be practically gone. Hope iv helped :) x

Your at an age where your hormones are all over the place and this could be causing your spots. Good skin hyigene is essential. Always cleanse and tone your face everyday, use a scent free moisturiser and never sleep in your makeup. Try and eat a good healthy diet...boring, I know!!!but lots of leafy green veggies, blueberries, pinapple all have anti oxidants that help your body get rid of impurities and boost your immune system. Drink plenty of fluids, try to reduce the amount of sugar and fatty food you eat and get lots of sleep.

If this doean't help then get to see your doctor and see if you need some anti biotic cream.

Puberty doesn't last forever and things will settle down as you get older.

Good luck xxx

Hiya :)

2 ideas -

1) My skin always seems to go through periods of being really clear and then really spotty. It's partly to do with the time of the month, hormones etc, though I've found that drinking more water DEFINITELY helps clear my skin up, especially around -cough- 'that time'.

2) I am a huuuuge advocate for Lush cosmetics, they have literally worked miracles on my skin. They're so much better than things like Clearasil because they are completely natural and dont have any harsh chemicals or anything in them. You could also try The Body Shop, or any natural cosmetics place really.

Make sure you're doing a proper skincare routine (cleanse, tone, moisturise) once a day.

Hope this helped, good luck :)
