Hi this is for men and women to answer...

I know other women have this.. Dark brown round their bum hole. I think mine is a bad case. Can men see this when having sex with a woman, does it put them off? Obviously it would have to be specific positions. Is anal bleaching alot of money? Does it last a long time?

My goodness. Please don't do whatever this "anal bleaching" is...it evokes either Michael Jackson or a torture camp.

In all seriousness, as a woman of part-Cherokee descent, I have a darker, erm, anal area too. My honey doesn't mind, and actually tells me what a good view he has back there. He did admit that he was surprised when he first saw it, because his one other partner was completely European and apparently perfectly pink. Men who are familiar with greater ethnic diversity will not even bat an eyelash. I wouldn't worry.

It is very normal (both men and women) for that skin to darken as you get older....I repeat, it is normal (both men and women) for that skin to darken as you get older. The ONLY reason why this has become a new "trend" is the almighty porn industry. Trying to keep women looking younger then they really are, just like all these grown women with their pubic hair completely removed like a child. Something has gone seriously wrong with all of it. Personally, I would not waste your money on something like that.

I think the said patch appears in those who use tissue paper to wipe off themselves in contrast to those who use water. for the other part of your question, as a male though it has never crossed my mind.

MsSadie agony auntMost men don't obsess over these little things about our bodies, despite being visual creatures.

As for the cost and all that:

I really don't think you should worry about this. It's not a big deal. It's equivalent to trying to bleach your nipples so they appear lighter in color. It's silly. Guys don't notice what us girls notice.

Dear OP,

I don't really know if men are put off by this. But I used to worry about this and there's actually a cheaper solution than do anal bleaching. If you go to a pharmacy you can buy a cream that bleaches pigment spots and age marks. Anyway.. so far nobody ever mentioned that this was disturbing and I stopped using that cream. I suppose this problem is completely invented by cosmeticians to make us women feel bad about ourselves. Men have got this kind of skin as well and they better bleach their asses before asking me to do so.
