I had a boyfriend in college (who attending a Catholic Boys school before college). He actually thought that the moon was responsible for women's menstrual cycles and we all got it at the same time! Can you imagine what would happen if that were really true? "Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!"

There can be a placebo effect. If people 8think* something works, they will *act* like it does. Like if you give a chick a sugary drink and tell her it's alcoholic, she'll start to act drunk.
But no, the moon has no direct effects on our behavior, unless a woman's cycle happens to coincide with it.
