But i try to make her laugh and try to be as casual as possible and i think she responds well frankly. I really don't know how her mind works and i have no agenda or motive when it comes to her. i just like her and want to have a good time. do you think she'd take it well if i ask her out for a drink or a pizza? i'm married and she knows it too.  Have your wife give her a call to invite her out for a meal. You can all enjoy one another's company and I'm sure she'd appreciate the thoughtful gesture.
If your intent is to start something with her that leads to an extramarital affair, that's an entirely different question. But you say you have no agenda or motive so I guess that's not the case here.

either you are married and she is friends with you and your wife or you are nothing with her....
her being a widow should have no bearing on it....
