writes:So there is this girl that i am in love with. She knows i like her and she has shown signs of liking me. However she has had a boyfriend for about 4 years now. She has given me clues that one day hey may break up and hopefully if that happens i will get my chance with her. I think about her concstantly and would love nothing more than to be with her and i would be devastated if i never got my chance. There is something in the back of my mind though. If i do get my chance im kinda scared. I want to be woth her but the thought of ot scares me and i don't know why. I guess maybe because i think about her all the time and imagine how amazing it would be im scared that it wont be what i though. Or maybe im scared that i won't be good enough for her i will t ry my hardest but what if im not. Im not exactly sure what im scared of but it upsets me that i am can somebody tell me if this is a bad thing or not?

reader, anonymous, writes (21 September 2008): Are you sure she wants to break up with her boyfriend? This is going to sound really bad, but maybe she just enjoys the idea of you, but is too in love with her man to think twice?
I think you should look for someone else and try to be happy with them. I don't think she will leave her boyfriend since she has been with him for so long. If she does, even better - but please try to find happiness in the mean time (you don't know, you may meet someone who you will fall madly in love with).
