You are not understanding what I am saying.
The height of a man is not important. Some women like very tall men, some like short men.
In general a girl will want her man to be a little taller than her.
It is different for every girl.

5'10" is certainly not short. It might not be overly tall either si I guess you're a nice average. At 18 though, you may still grow a little bit more.
From a personal viewpoint I do like a guy to be taller than me (but I'm only 5 ft anyway!)

5'10 is not short.
And as for the best height, well it's about an inch and a half taller than the girl you want.
It is unlikely that you will hit 6 feet tall, but that really doesn't matter to anyone but you.
Unless you plan on dating a girl who is 6'5'' you will never have any problems.
