writes: i felt a tingling sensation and a small pain 'down there' earlier today but no blood but does this mean my hymen is broken? i found a few web sites that had a couple pictures but they were mostly drawings and i couldnt really make out anything....i found one real picture of a girl who still had her hymen i could make that out but every girls pubic areas look diffrent so i couldnt really tell. oh yea, i have only used a tampon one time and it hurt like the devil, im a virgin, never rode a horse, dont play sports, i do ride bikes but its usuly on the road around my neighbor hood and i would think it would have to be very bumpy to break a layer of skin, and i dont finger myself, or masterbate.....i think that covers everything i read about!sorry this got so long!thank you for any help!

 I can't see why your hymen would be broken honey, but if you often get pains down there, it might be worth paying a visit to the doctors.
