Do you think I should ask this guy out? He's older to me and a co-worker

Hi so I was just wondering what I should do. I am 20 and I am head over heels for a guy that I have known for about 8 months. We met when I started working for the same company as him- he is a coworker not my boss- and I have developed feelings for him. Initially, I thought that he was decent looking and now the more I have learned about him and his personality the more I liked. He is a very sweet man and always tries to look after the people around him. Then he started showing up at my part-time job; all casual like oh he's just out buying something and he just happened to run in to me. So provided I have been reading his signals right he's interested and I was excited just waiting and waiting for him to ask me out. Except he never has :( Now for the complication; he is significantly older than me, another coworker told me that he just didn't want to make the first move on someone younger than him who might get creeped out. Do you agree? Do you think I should ask him out?

Thanks

I say you should go for it. If he is showing up to your part time job I don't think that means he is shopping I think he wants to be near you. If he is older so what I think if you really like him you should go for it. Just be prepared because we don't always get the answer we want. You never know what will happen until you give it a try.
