reader, anonymous, writes (24 October 2008): just take it one day at a time. don't press the issue. just look at the "big picture" 6 months ago you two could even stand each other, now yall are talking and nice to each other. There's nothing wrong with being just friends, and if things didn't work out the first time, then odds are 6 months isn't really long enough to make things right. If you rush back into a relationship then it may not work out and you two may not be able to have common ground again to be friends. And at 14, friends are much better to have than girlfriends because relationships isn't really longlasting. Good Luck.
