Im asking becuase i am with mine, we are now in our early 20's and i was just wondering if we actualy stand a chance to last or if we are just being unrealistic in thinking we can stay together. I know everybody is different so i just wanted a general opinion. Reply to this Question Share |

Highschool sweethearts can really be long time partners. Example would be this guy i know. He is about 27 and he married his highschool sweetheart that he met his freshman-sophmore year of highschool. So ya, def. can happen :)

Not having any first hand experience.. Why not? I mean, what is different from back in the old day's 'til now? If you want it, then go for it. Love is love, then and now. Only thing thing has really changed and that is feminist movements and women being deliberated, but that is easy to work around.
Hope my diffuse answer was of any help. I really just don't see any obvious reasons for why it shouldn't work.

Yes you have a very good chance now you are in your early 20's and still are seeing each other. The most succsessful marriages have stemmed from them knowing each other as children. They began as friends and it turns into deep love and understanding. Too many people rush in to marriage and miss out the most important parts of being friends first. Hope this helps.
