Do you think he wants me back or are we through?

My bf broke up with me. I decided to start no contact. He kept sending text messages telling me he loved me and stuff. that made it hard for me to recover from the breakup, so I blocked his number from being able to call or text my phone. His sister called to ask me a question(she never mentioned the breakup and I believe he had her call). I am willing to be with him but it was important to show I was unwilling to accept mixed signals. Do you think he wants me back? Or did blocking his number make the break up official?
