We have been flirting very strongly since the summer and i feel we have developed a strong bond between us. However as we work so close together its so hard to be close to him without someone noticing and making comments. I am not permanent there and at the moment looking for other work, but i don't want to leave and never see him again. The only time we are alone together is sometimes he offers to take me to the bus station in his car. There was something on his seat the other day as i got in his car so i picked it up and held it, as i was getting out our fingers intertwined as he took it back. This is not some silly crush, i really feel alot for this guy, and im sure he feels the same. We share long eye contact together, and we have secret sayings that we whisper to each other. I feel his eyes on me alot, but when i look up he looks away.Do you think he is shy, scared of rejection, or just being proffesional because of our work relationship?Anymore advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks xx

It does sound like he likes you, otherwise he probably woulden't flirt with you, or offer you lifts to the bus station. However whether he is shy, scared of you rejecting him, or is just being proffesional because you work together is anyones guess.
Why don't you casually ask him out for a drink after work, it can't hurt, and what have you got to lose.
Good luck x
