When I'm with him he says all the right things and it doesn't feel like they are just lines. However we spend a lot of time apart and its then that I feel like he doesn't care so much. He often forgets things we have done together when I bring them up in conversation. He forgets what's going on in MY life and only asks about situations if I talk about them. Every conversation we have is special to me so I don't understand why its not important to him.Yesterday he forgot my birthday even though I had mentioned it last week. That has really upset me. We haven't been togther long. Do you think caring about me as an individual will come in time and I'm asking too much right now (he has a lot going on in his life). Or am I just kidding myself...if he was that into me these things would be important to him right? Or is this just how men are? Reply to this Question Share |

I've been treated like a stop gap, so i'm thinking, if your in any doubt that he isn't upto scratch, why let him waste anymore of your time than needed!
