Is it really off putting? Is a beer belly enough to make you not want a relationship with someone? Reply to this Question Share |

Part of the reason it's so attractive is that he is still sexually confident and doesn't try to hide any of himself away - he has a 'this is me' attitude that i love. Also, the fact that he's a tiny bit overweight reminds me of his immense passion for life and for cooking that are so much more important to him that having a flat stomach.... now THAT's a huge turn - for any woman, or man, with a soul :)

But my current boyfriend is so not like this - hairy, chubby, a beer belly, a double chin - and I find him immensely attractive!! It's got so much more to do with personality and sexual chemistry than it does with how well your body fits some socially prescribed ideal. I have great sex with my boyfriend and actually find his belly a complete turn on even though he thinks it is the worst part of his body! Funny the agony that we put ourselves through when beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. Good luck :)

I think the heavier men are greatly attractive especially when there is a strong confidence around them. If you dress well, smell nice, have a great sense of humor and open your eyes to the rest of the world, you will see chubby guys are just as "in" as thin or fit guys, why? Because you are a guy. Aside from being heavy, what else is good about you? What do you do to stand out? Try to think of yourself as something other than a "chubby guy," you deserve too!

Don't be discouraged over your size. When the right gal comes along she won't see your weight. I know that me myself, I am attracted to a man's personality and character etc...not so much his looks although there usually is somekind of attraction. You can win women over with charm and humor and the woman you do land will want you for who you are, not what you look like and that is real love ;-) For your own health though you might want to shed some pounds if you can? A man who can take the initiative to do such a thing is attractive in itself if you get what I mean..
