Do these symptoms suggest that I'm pregnant?

I'm in a pickle. Please help.

I slept with a guy about 5 weeks ago with protection.

My period last week was a few days late but very painful. I can't be too sure as to why it was late, but I believe this to be down to stress of my exams.

I got tablets for the pain and the doctor told me that the period would be lighter than usual.

It came then after taking the tablets, it went again for a day, then came back and it was lighter - as the doc said.

Today, a week after my period, I woke up with lower back pain - it feels like a cramped muscle. I've had it all day.

I've had a weird feeling in my lower tummy all day but I'm not sure if it may have been because I didn't eat for about 6 hours and then ate a big meal later on.

Please please tell me your thoughts. I really don't want to be pregnant I completely regret it all.

Having your period is a sign of not being pregnant. I wouldn't worry about that too much, but you should go and see your doctor again about the ammount of pain that you are in.

Good Luck. X

lexilou agony auntYou are probably worrying as you say you regret it all now and the mind does play tricks on us. BUT I will say if you are in any doubt or worried or you body is not doing what it normally does then see your doctor again. If you have to do a pregnancy test do not worry its not the first time your doc has been asked to do one and he will not judge you in anyway, thats not his job. Seek help and find out if you need to worry first x x
