Hi, sometimes you just have to have some patience. Like waiting for bread to rise, the pie to finish baking, the tomato to ripen on the plant, you have to let things develop, and not overthink things.
Here are your options:
He doesn't like you and looks funny at you because you have food in your teeth
He does like you but is shy and won't ever do anything about it
He does like you but has a girlfriend and won't cheat on her
He does like you and eventually will ask you out
The point is that in order to find out which option it is, you need to get to know him a bit better. Talk to him. You don't have to announce that you fancy him; just get to know him a bit better. If you're too shy, then wait for him to talk to you. If you're both too shy, then you won't ever find out, because neither of you will ever talk to the other.
Patience, my dear, let things develop in their own time.
And didn't you ask this recently? http://www.dearcupid.org/question/what-did-his-answer-on-facebook-mean.html
Good luck!
