A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Right so the boy i like, i think he likes me back. he flirts with me huggs be hold me tight puts his arms around me and stuff. He is in the year above so i only see him after school.

When we were walking home together (we were holding hands ^.^) and he asked to see my phone, so i gave it to him (I had the same phone as him) he was like "you have the same phone as me! we are just made for eachother!" and laughed. He gave me his number aswell.

So i texted him in the evening so he had my number, he replied "cool babe xx" and i said "How are you? xx" no reply.

He never texted me later so on the weekend i sent him a text asking something about school. I cant remember what he replied, but when i replied to that text no asnwer again.

My friend at school, her and her boyfriend text all the time. I understand that we dont have to text eachother all the time, but the occasional text would be nice haha.

But i have seen him hug other girls and he sometimes acts distant from me randomly. but most of the time he is normal.

So is he just not a text type of person or maybe he just doesn't like me that way?

I just want to know if people who like eachother genuinly text or talk all the time or not?

thankyou (: xx

He's the classic "player". They are usually good at what they do and know what to say because they've had a lot of practice.

If you want to be his friend, then by all means do but don't get attached to him, you'll only get hurt.

The type of person he is..is a player. He genuinely likes girls period and has a different flavor of the hour..day..week.. (Read: Not to be confused with a boyfriend like your friend has) Boyfriends like only you and think you are more special then the rest. A boyfriend will give you his time and a player will divy up the time between competing girls all waiting for his next text.

tennisstar88 agony auntYour question sounds a little familiar, I'm almost positive you posted the other day.

Anyways, this boy is very flirty. He's what I like to call a womanizer, or a ladies man. These boys have trouble holding down a relationship, usually cheat, very flirty, and love all the ladies. They will end up breaking your heart. You will encounter more of these guys as life goes on..you need to steer clear of them.

To answer your question, if a guy likes you he will text you back often. Not ignore your texts. Now it doesn't have to be 24-7, and if he doesn't then he has a good excuse why he didn't respond.
