I used the time since then to work hard on taking stock and trying to find the career path for me as I was very unfulfilled in the role I was in - sales.I attended a number of interviews and have been offered a role, its a good job with a lot of earning potential and I will have to study for it. Now that all sounds great but something in me just doesnt feel right. I think its that I could use this opportunity to study/work in an area that excites me. Im 36 now and the course I have to complete for this job takes 2 years. I kinda feel that this is 2 years I could be using to work to a degree in an area I enjoy. Not financial sales. On the other hand, while there is a lot of unemployment there is still an economy moving and jobs available. I guess the alternative is to pass up this opportunity and get a job that allows me to study what I want in the evenings and change my career path. On the other hand there is a recession globally and Im not gauranteed another job.Essentially; do I take a big risk and follow my dream or try to make, yet another, sales job work for me?What do you think? Take a risk and follow your dream!! I would always suggest that. It's what I did :) I'm studying music, my one biggest passion, but also one of the hardest areas to get a job in. You will regret it if you don't follow your dreams. Don't just settle for a sales job if you don't love it. Do what you love. Whats the point in life if we don't do what we love and love the life we live? Life is about risks! Take it and see where it takes you. I promise you, you won't regret it
