writes:Help. I do not know what to do. I am due to go on a day field trip. I am looking forward to it. Trouble is my ex is going to with his new girlfriend. I think I am ok with it and will ignore him but people have warned me it could be awkward, in fact downright hostile as she is really controlling and possessive of him. Would it be good form to sit this one out. I have just as much right to be there and am looking forward to the trip but not sure it will be fun with Ms Possessive clutching his arm and shooting me the eagle eye. I think in fact he may reconsider going if we are both there. I have a crush on another guy now so I dont care.

 Go on the field trip. You obviously don't give a crap about him. If he or the other girl have issues with it, that's their problem not yours. Just ignore them and heve fun..
