A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Me and my boyfriend have been together for two years, it has been a great relationship, until the last month, as he has not been himself and i have had other stresses.

Last week his phone goes off, but he has gone to bed and i read it as we're normally fine with this, it is a message from a girl saying she enjoyed a kiss the other night(2 nights ago). I wake him up and confront him and he denies it and then confesses that it is true.

He started filming a tv show in may and this is how he met her, they had two sex scenes the week before(fully clothed) that i wasnt too bothered about as she is not exactly pretty. My boyfriend says that when they were dropped off in their area after work they decided to go for a drink, and she started to say how her boyfriend of 8 years wasnt making her that happy and that it was weird filming those scenes last week as it was strange to try and turn the feelings on and off, they kissed as they said goodbye(no tongues).

He has been very insecure recently and hates it if another guy even glances at me and i worry that because of his insecurities he needs reassurance that hes attractive. He asked me a couple of weeks ago if i saw him in a club would i think hes hot etc. Obviously, im with him, and i always tell him how amazing he is to me.

Its been a week now and he keeps crying down the phone and telling me how no one can replace what i gave him.

when the show goes out in january i know girls will start to throw themselves at him once he gets recognised.

Is their time to build that trust again?

Do i need to give us time apart to make him truely realise what it would be like without me?

Thankyou X
