reader, anonymous, writes (14 July 2010): You are a girl with hormones that make you overly emotional at the oddest moments. You probably do miss your cousin and your female hormones made you overly sensitive. Understand these changes that you are going through, calm yourself down and think about what you are saying logically.
Your cousin is family, you love him as family. Not in a romantic way, that's not appropriate here in the USA. You don't want to mess up what could be a life long relationship with a family member by misappropriating your feelings onto him. You are either about to start a period, or you already have had periods, your body is changing and that affects your mood which affects your feelings which confuses your mind. Things always look differently when you feel calmer and more rational.
Take care, and talk to your mother about some of this, she'll understand you and what you are going through, I promise.
