Do I just cut all ties and walk away?

Question - (16 February 2010) 2 Answers - (Newest, 19 February 2010)
A female United Kingdom age 51-59, *issAlfiexx writes:

I split up from my ex about 3 months ago, thay left me for someone else. Yes it hurt but i've got on with things. I have been in contact with them often but just recently they keep telling me the grass is not greener and they've made my bed so they'll have to lie in it. I'm just confused because i still love them. Do I just cut of all ties, walk away and let them get on with their new relationship, and I get on with my own life. I just can't get out of my head how much they lied to me in the first place.

You walk away and you don't stop or turn around. This person had their chance with you and blew it. Would you ever trust this person again if you gave them a second chance??? Methinks not.
